Member of Parliament, Sunsari–4
Er. Deepak Kumar Sah is the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies in the Government of Nepal and a directly elected Member of Parliament representing the Sunsari–4 constituency for the Rastriya Swatantra Party.
A distinguished mechanical engineer and hydropower expert, Minister Sah brings over 23 years of robust professional experience in infrastructure development, project management, and technical auditing. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he served as a Technical Director in hydropower company, and a Certified Technical Auditor for the National Vigilance Centre under the Government of Nepal. He has also started several startups in Nepal.
As Minister, his strategic vision centers on driving comprehensive industrial reform, enhancing trade facilitation, and streamlining supply management. He is deeply committed to strengthening Nepal's domestic industrial base, easing cross-border trade flows, and robustly safeguarding consumer rights in the marketplace.
Minister Sah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Pulchowk Campus (IOE, Tribhuvan University) and a Master’s degree in Natural Resource Development from Nepal Open University.
